Turning A Snapshot Into Artwork

The good thing about my wife being behind the wheel on our way to Ocean City for my birthday vacation is that I get to hold a camera for snapshots when I get an opportunity. A more important reason for my wife driving is to avoid turning a two hour drive into a whole day event given the bajillion things that I would like to stop and photograph along the way. After spending most of the day in Rehoboth with my family playing mini golf, getting soaked at the water bumper wars, racing go-karts and hitting the arcades and amusement center at the boardwalk we headed back to the trailer pretty much exhausted. Continue reading

2013 Ocean City Birthday Vacation

Since we moved to Maryland, it has become sort of a tradition to spend my birthday week at my in-law’s place at Treasure Beach in Fenwick Island, DE.

This is a view of Little Assawoman Bay. I set up my camera as soon as we got there, late in the afternoon and waited for the sun to set.
